TYPE 2 SURVEY
Standard sampling identification and assessment survey (sampling survey)
This is carried out to comply with the duty to assess the risks to occupants and maintenance operatives. Samples are taken in accordance with the Breeze Environmental Consultants Ltd. sampling regime. The asbestos inclusion is subject to a material assessment as detailed in MDHS 100 based on the material type, asbestos fibre type and condition. A priority assessment (Breeze Environmental Consultants Ltd in house method) is carried out if required by the client. Any areas which are subject to major refurbishment or demolition at a later date will need to have a TYPE 3 SURVEY carried out.
